Spectacular natural surroundings combined with the vitality of a creative and artistic community make Los Angeles one-of-a-kind. February 09 - Nawiliwili/Kauai, Hawai

8 AM to 6 PM

Kauai is better known by its well-deserved nickname, the "Garden Isle." Fewer people live here than on the larger neighboring islands, but Hawaiian residents and out-of-state visitors alike are attracted to its acclaimed beaches, rugged emerald-colored cliffs, cascading waterfalls and magnificent sandy shores. Secluded coves are found all along the island's irregular coastline and a luxuriant rainforest flourishes on the "wet" side of the island, Kaui being one of the wettest spots on earth.

February 16 - Apia, Western Samoa

8 AM to 6 PM

Cradled along the northern shore of Upolu, picturesque Apia’s thatched-roof fales blend into the emerald-hued countryside. Jagged mountains rise above deserted beaches where trade winds sigh on coconut palms. Western Samoa's friendly, carefree islanders will welcome you to their bountiful homeland and proudly show you the former home of their adopted son, Robert Louis Stevenson.

February 17 - Cruising the Pacific Ocean

February 18 - Nuku'alofa, Tonga

8 AM to 5 PM

Tonga is a member of the Commonwealth, and it shows in Nuku’Alofa, the capital, with its Victorian Royal Palace, impressive chapel, and Royal Tombs of the local monarchs. Yet Tonga teems with South Sea beauty as well, including exotic Talamahu Market, wave-swept coastal cliffs, and idyllic Fafa Island.

February 21 - Auckland, New Zealand

Disembark AM

Situated astride a narrow, jade-green isthmus between the shimmering waters of the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean on two harbors, the Waitematā and Manukau, is Auckland. This vibrant city is a gateway to New Zealand’s natural and cultural treasures: great natural beauty, friendly people, magnificent glacier-studded mountain ranges, sculpted fjords, pristine beaches, lush rainforest, an endless array of sporting activities, and, not to be forgotten, plenty of sheep and rolling farmland.
